Dijon Dressing with Orange Bitters

Vinaigrettes are generally a balance of acid, salt, and oil, sometimes with an addition of sugar. Adding bitters gives yet more complexity, augmenting the whole shebang. This is a great, all-purpose vinaigrette that would compliment everything from a hearty grain salad to your basic mesclun. 

Runamok Maple - Recipe Dijon Dressing with Orange Bitters

Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Runamok Orange Bitters
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk all of the ingredients together and let sit for a few minutes.
